Play Childhood Dos Games in windows7 or Vista

Now-a-days we are usually using windows7, vista instead of using windows 98 or 95 which is not user-friendly but our Childhood games such as : DAVE , MARIO , STREET FIGHTER were only available there.
We cannot leave the advance operating system neither can leave our Childhood memories.
To live the childhood again this is a small step :)
Yes, it’s now possible to play the Dos games in your Windows 7 & Vista.

Using DosBox it’s possible to play all those Dos games. Which is virtualization software capable of running the old DOS programs and games.

Just follow the following steps:

1.       Download the game Dave.
Download Dave Game: ftp://213.207.81.163/dave.zip


2.       Extract the zip file.


3.       Now create a folder in your C drive. Name “Dos” & then copy & paste the extracted zip file named “Dave” in the Dos folder. (You can also use any name instead of Dos but you have to put that name every place I used Dos… & the name Dave can also be changed. In case of that you have to use the .exe file name inside the folder (here it was Dave.exe) )


4.       Now Download DosBox 0.74 free from the given link. Which is Only 1.38 Mb.
Download DosBox : garr.dl.sourceforge.net/project/dosbox/dosbox/0.74/DOSBox0.74-win32-installer.exe


5.       Install DosBox.


6.       Now open the DosBox from the desktop or from the start menu.

7.       Write  mount C C:\Dos  which will appear in the box z:\>mount C C:\Dos
then press enter. something like this will appear then

8.       Now write C: and press enter.

9.       Write cd Dave & then again give enter. And now the appearance will be like this

10.   Finally put Dave.exe and then give enter.

Here is the game with 10 levels & earn as much point as u can :) :)
you will get three life+ one extra life.
Sometimes some extra life will also be added if you can cross 4^th level or 3^rd.
